Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and your background?
30 years of age, born and raised in London, logistics background. Currently working at Heathrow airport in logistics management.
How did you first get into trading, and how long have you been involved in the markets?
Looking for ways to make a secondary income online. Tried most conventional methods
in the past – stumbled across trading through various ads on YouTube. Been trading
roughly 2 years.
What does your trading plan look like, and how has it contributed to your success?
Disciplined approach – setting daily targets, not deviating from trading strategy. Allows
me to stay on top of my emotions, not being influenced by outward noise and solely
focusing on my own strategies and methods.
How many accounts did you blow before you finally started to see that consistency?
Probably around 4/5 until I could recognize the mistakes I was making and started to
rectify them.
Could you share a challenge you faced in your trading journey and how you overcame it?
Being able to juggle working full time and trading at the same time. Coming up with a
plan to manage my time effectively and not working outside of that plan.
How do you approach risk management, and how has it shaped your results?
If you feel nervous about the amount at risk, you’ve not risk managed properly. That’s
the advice I always go by and would advise anyone else with. Mindset and risk
management are vital to seeing success in this industry.
Looking back, what has been a key turning point in your trading career?
Receiving the first payout. Gave me belief and propelled me forward on my journey,
allowed me to gain momentum.
What do you believe helped you become a consistent trader?
Belief in myself, self education and discipline.
What mindset or qualities do you feel give you an edge as a trader?
Being level-headed, not allowing emotions to overwhelm or influence my trades, being
able to know when to accept losses.
